Toasted computes shadows in real time from a 3D model of Paris buildings combined with the current position of the sun. The map updates as the sun moves through the sky, so you can see which terraces will be in sunlight right now or at a future time.

Location access is used to center the map on you and to fetch the local weather. Your location is never stored on our servers, it stays on your device. You can decline location access and still use the app to explore Paris.

Open Toasted, go to Settings, scroll to the bottom, and tap "Supprimer mon compte". You'll be asked to confirm. Once confirmed, your account and all associated data are permanently deleted from our database.

From the login screen tap the link to reset your password, or go to Settings and tap "Recevoir un email de réinitialisation". We'll email you a secure link to set a new password.

Toasted needs an active internet connection to load map tiles and terrace data. Try toggling airplane mode or switching between Wi-Fi and cellular. If problems persist, close and reopen the app, or email us with details about your device and iOS version.

Toasted's terrace database is curated by us and continuously improved based on user feedback. If you spot an incorrect address, opening hours, or missing terrace, email us and we'll fix it.

Currently Toasted only covers Paris (75001 to 75020). We're building the data and shadow models needed to expand to other cities. Let us know which city you'd like next.
